The Sake Week becomes European:
On October 1, the second Sake Week starts in Berlin and for the first time simultaneously in Hamburg, Munich, Vienna and Bratislava
– From October 1 to 7, 2022, events focusing on the traditional Japanese beverage will take place at more than 40 locations, primarily in Berlin and Vienna.
– At the Oukan Restaurant in Berlin-Mitte, the week of events will be officially opened with a party by the Sake Embassy Germany e.V. association on October 1 – World Sake Day.
Berlin, September 19, 2022 – After the great response to the first Berlin Sake Week in October 2021, the Sake Week now goes into the second round. Together with Sake Week Vienna and organizers from Hamburg, Munich and other cities, Sake Week will be expanded into a supra-regional network. An event week that provides an appropriate platform for the growing interest in sake.
On all days of the event week up to and including October 7, 2022, those interested in sake can learn interesting facts about sake, experience interactives in real life and online, and of course taste and buy sake. In addition to events, some restaurants and bars will also offer special weekly deals such as sake pairings, drink flights and cocktail creations. In addition, an industry meeting with brewers, distributors and restaurateurs will be held at Markthalle Berlin-Moabit on behalf of the National Tax Agency (Japan).
